LS Cable develops high-efficiency coils (magnet wire) for automobile motors, the first in the domestic market. It enhances the output of automobile generator by more than 50%. 

Coils developed this time feature greatly enhanced flexibility, enabling winding coils more closely compared to existing products. It helps in minimizing the motor size with high efficiency output. 

They also developed coating design technology for coils in-house, which enables coating strength to enhance more than two times compared to existing products, and minimize coating damage during high-speed work process. Eleven domestic and overseas patents for these coil products developed by LS Cable are still pending. 

Together with the increasing demand for high-efficiency coils in the automobile motor coil market in Korea, LS Cable expects to increase sales of new product to US$50 million by 2010. They also plan to reinforce overseas marketing focusing in the USA and European markets.
