LS Cable (CEO: Chayol Koo) recently utilizes eco-friendly, non-toxic, retardant and non-halogen materials to introduce various cable products in the market. 

First of all, high-voltage cables used to supply power to LCD is remarkable. LS Cable successfully developed the cables to supply power to LCD backlight. It does not produce harmful materials in case of fire and also does not lose the elastic characteristic of retardants at high temperature. Eco-friendly LCD monitors using this product may be introduced in the market from the 3rd quarter of this year. 

Cables for defense industry, which are used in military vessels and devices to control shooting, are expected to be introduced in full scale. Since the product standard of defense industry used in military vessels are hard to meet; only a few advanced companies in the USA occupied the market. Non-halogen technology to TPE, high-function new material, was first applied by a local company and satisfied the international standard in function and eco-friendliness. It is expected to greatly promote and localize the cables for defense industry in the future. 

Moreover, LS Cable decides that eco-friendly characteristics will become a major factor in producing value-added products and invested a lot in R&D for eco-friendly products since 2002. Backed by advanced technology, they plan to strategically occupy the domestic and overseas market through aggressive marketing activities.
