"The future of a manufacturing company depends on its R&D competence," stressed LS Group Chairman Ku Ja-hong to LS Cable Vice Chairman Ku Ja-yeol and chief executives of its affiliates. Chairman Ku held a "LS T-Fair" on April 25 to present and exhibit the Group´s R&D achievements and products at Seoul´s COEX and promised, "Unsparing investments will be made to ensure best values for our consumers through creative thinking and to concentrate competency on high value-added sectors for substantial business achievements." The event, having been launched twice before, selects and exhibit 6 themes to introduce 100 products along with a customers seminar. Meanwhile, LS also presented its future core business fields: chief components of next-generation vehicles, eco-friendly and future energy system, ubiquitous network, factory automation machinery system, high purity metal and display, electric parts for telecommunications and excellent design centers.
