LS Cable has won orders worth $32 million in Thailand and Vietnam for supplying optical and coaxial cables, which will be used in building wireless communication networks.
This winning the Southeast Asian projects would help the firm expand its business in the rapidly growing region, along with the completion of its second Vietnam factory in Ho Chi Minh city slated for later this year.
Under the contracts, the company will provide cables worth $22 million to Thailand’s DTAC, the country’s second largest mobile service firm, and $10 million worth of products to Viettel, Vietnam’s leading mobile provider, by 2008.
