■ First applied to palm pad terminals for In_Building solution in the world
LS Cable successfully commercialized wireless charging technology, the first in the world.
LS Cable announced on August 2 that they have successfully commercialized wireless charging technology, enabling electronic device charging by simply putting them on the pad. They also announced that they signed a sales contract with Alganim Group, Kuwait.
.
This wireless charging technology, which LS Cable has commercialized, is for palm pad, which is a terminal controlling mobile device. It controls temperature and lighting inside the buildings. In the future, LS Cable plans to develop wireless charging market for mobile phones in cooperation with set makers.
Wireless charging technology, commercialized by LS Cable, sends electricity to charging pad through electromagnetic induction, delivers electric fields to the battery and supply electricity to the electronic device.
This technology does not create electric leakages and prevents children, the old and disabled from electric shocks.
Its fields of application is wide since it can charge home electronic appliances like robot cleaners as well as mobile communication devices such as mobile phones and MP3 players.
Wireless charging technology was developed before by Splashpower Company, but has since remained only as working sample.
