■ Donated 1 million RMB (US$120,000) to the China Differently-Abled Federation 
■ Contributed to the local community supporting a scholarship to companies who come in China

LS Cable (CEO, Chayol Koo) carries their true love for the China market into practice contributing 1 million RMB (equivalent to US$120,000) in the donation event sponsored by the China Judicature and Differently-Abled Federation. It was held on December 4th in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China.

This contribution event was held at the time when problems of the disabled became a hot political and social issue of China. This year, it was shown in a program of CCTV, which is the government-run broadcasting station in China. It is known as the biggest national charity event in China. 

Besides LS Air-conditioning System (LSAS) established in Qingdao in 1997, LS Cable opened the Tenzin Corporation and constructed the LS industrial complex in a 330,000 m2 area in Wuxi in September, 2005. Likewise, they are continuously proceeding local projects in China by these companies.

The Charity event held this time was also taken as one way of localization of Chinese business by LS Cable. Besides, LSAS (LS Air-conditioning System), Quindao Corporation, supports a scholarship at the Quindao College of Science and Engineering , etc.

LS Cable decided to participate in the contribution activities for local community providing scholarship for excellent middle and high school students and university students of low income to other corporations including Shanghai, Tenzin, Wuxi, etc.
