LS Cable (CEO, Chayol Koo) invested a total of US$30 million in Loc Khang Industrial Complex in Dong Nai Province near Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and decided to construct their second cable factory (Company name: LSCV / LS Cable Vietnam) and started construction recently.
This factory, which is constructed with exclusive investment by LS Cable, is situated in a 170,000m2 site. In the first half of next year when first stage construction is completed, electric power cables and control cables equivalent to US$60 million will be produced annually.
In the second half of next year when second stage construction is completed, communication cables equivalent to US$40 million will be additionally produced every year. Cables for electric power and communications produced in this factory will be exported to India, the Middle East, Europe, etc. as well as Vietnam.
After securing first factory (Company name: LS-VINA Cable) in Hai Phong located in the north area of Vietnam in 1996 where electric power cables are produced, LS Cable newly owns their second factory in the south area near to Ho Chi Minh where electric power and communication cables are produced.
