■ Highlights its technological power as a total solution provider in power, automation, and green businesses

In Hannover Messe 2013 held last April 8 ~ 12 in Hannover, Germany, LSIS (Vice Chairman: Koo Ja-kyun) endeavored to solidify its profile as total solution provider of integrated solutions in power, automation, and green business areas. 

LSIS operated 13 exhibition booths (1,117㎡) under the theme of Global Leader in Green Business, emphasizing that the company is the only Korean company to cover all areas ranging from power transmission and distribution based on smart grids to automation aimed at helping boost energy efficiency in industrial fields. 

In addition, in connection with overseas references including achievements in Iraq and Bulgaria as well as applied power and solar solutions, LSIS delivered its technological image instead of exhibiting its products; thus effectively embodying the fair’s main theme of integrated industry.

In the power device field, LSIS unveiled new products such as the low-voltage Susol wiring circuit breakers, Metasol temporary control-type molded-case circuit breaker, and RMU (Ring Main Unit; power receiving and distribution device with load and transformer protection function and circuit breaking function).  
In the automation business area, the company showcased products wherein automation solutions such as PLC, HMI, and inverters play integrated roles in various industrial fields, along with the promotion of such profile.

The smart grid business area featured an experience zone displaying solar technologies including solar modules, solar inverters, smart meters, and IHD (In Home Display) as well as electric car solutions; thus attracting the attention of viewers. 


LSIS was named one of the World’s Top 1,000 Innovative Enterprises for two consecutive years including 2011 by Thomson Reuters, a leading source of intelligence and information. This fact was publicized, promoting South Korea’s leading green business innovation company.

According to Vice Chairman Koo Ja-kyun, it was a good opportunity to take a look at the technological trends of ABB, Schneider, and other global power and automation specialist companies and to think about the future development direction. “At the same time, LSIS’s green business technology can be said to be on a par with those of global advanced corporations. We will project the image of total innovative solution provider in related areas among customers,” he said at the fair.

As the world’s largest industrial fair, Hannover Fair attracts over 200,000 viewers each year. This year’s fair attracted around 6,500 enterprises from 70 countries, such as ABB, Siemens, and Schneider Electric. South Korean companies including LSIS, Hyosung, and Hyundai Heavy Industries showcased their technologies in the power and automation areas.
