■ The 5th FTTH Conference to be held at COEX on the 25th ~ 26th

The 5th Annual FTTH Conference of the FTTH Council Asia Pacific will be held on the 25th ~ 26th at the COEX, Intercontinental Hotel in Samseong-dong under the theme of ‘the future and challenges of the broadband environment.’ 

The conference is an international event that attracts hundreds of attendees including government officials and representatives of communications service providers and equipment manufacturers from the U.S., France, China and India, etc. As a venue to see and experience first hand broadband implementation and application services of the world, this annual FTTH conference will be greatly helpful for Korea businesses to gain sharper insights into global market trends. 

This event draws attention as it will provide an opportunity to experience and discuss various issues not readily available in Korea, such as actual implementation cases of major projects, trends of regulations being promulgated by different governments, status of next-generation open optical network development and applications, and development direction of global FTTH services. 

The significance of this event will be further heightened as Chairman Choi See-jung of KCC will give a congratulatory speech and Director Hwang Cheol-jeung of KCC’s Network Policy Bureau will make a keynote speech.
