LS Industrial Systems (LSIS) invited local sales agencies, the beachhead of its Chinese operation, to the Korean resort island of Jeju, where it shared information on specific strategies for advancing into the Chinese market from 2011, as the company aggressively pushes to increase its market shares in China, including move into green business.
LSIS held a conference involving its sales agencies by inviting some 130 agency chiefs, its primary customers in China, to Jeju Island for three days from December 10. The company held a meeting of sales agencies at the Convention Center, and a conference on its global business strategy, thus taking time to set strategies for its Chinese operation.
LSIS invited the chiefs of its sales agencies, which serve as beachheads for developing new markets in China, every year since 2000, thanked them for their efforts and contributions over the past year, and exchanged ideas on ways to expand future markets.
The company held this year’s conference in Jeju after conducting the event in Shanghai last year, examined the achievements in 2010, and shared its business strategy for next year. It also took the invitees on tours of the Jeju Smart Grid Demonstration Complex, and signed MOUs with potential sales agencies.
Additionally, LSIS held a conference on global business strategy presided over by Vice Chairman Ja-kyun Koo during the Jeju meeting, and established strategies for boosting the local business competitiveness needed to step up operations in the Chinese market, while reconfirming its commitment to posting US$1.1 billion dollars in sales in the market in 2015.
