■ Company unveils an array of Electric, Automation and Green Business solutions at Hannover Messe, Germany
■ Demonstrates global competitiveness, earning ‘2013 Top Global Innovators’ for three consecutive years
■ Participates in USA’s IEEE exhibition on April 15 to penetrate gigantic North America market


LSIS has recently participated in a number of world-class major industrial fairs, demonstrating its global competitiveness in the smart grid, HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), EES (Electric Energy Storage), and solar energy fields among other green businesses.

LSIS participated in the Hannover Messe 2014, which opened on April 11 in Hanover, Germany.

LSIS installed thirteen booths (covering 117㎡) at the fair under the theme of an ‘Integrated Solution & Global LSIS’. It operated four zones, i.e. ▲Overview of ‘Top 100 Global Innovators’ Selected by Thomson Reuter, ▲Innovative Solutions, ▲Infrastructure Solutions, and ▲Intelligence Solutions, demonstrating its competitiveness as a total solutions provider in the global electricity, automation and green business areas. 

Launched in 1974, the ‘Hannover Messe’ is held annually at the Hannover Messegelaende, an international exhibition center, and is the world’s largest industrial fair. Each year the fair attracts over 200,000 visitors seeking to view the latest product and technological trends in various key industries. 

The Innovative Solutions Zone featured the business competitiveness for providing total solutions from smart grid to power distribution automation systems, as well as the next-generation power transmission technology of key HVDC products, an overview of the Jeju HVDC operation complex, and large-capacity EES. It also operated an experience zone offering a hands-on experience of various solutions, earning a favorable response from visitors. 

The Infrastructure Solution Zone promoted the global business capabilities of LSIS by presenting LSIS as the first non-European company to successfully win orders for the construction of GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) substations and DCC (Distribution Control Centers) in Iraq, as well as other references of overseas businesses and solutions. 

The Intelligence Solution Zone featured new inverters such as the S100 and H100 series and XGT panels, as well as package solutions, the industrial Ethernet international standard RAPIEnet designed for connecting devices, and other industrial automation networks. 

An LSIS official said, “The Hannover Fair is an immense arena of competition where global companies vie for the future convergence businesses. It was a good opportunity for LSIS to promote itself as a global leader not only in the power and automation sectors but also in the green business sector, targeting European and other customers.”

In addition, LSIS will also participate in the IEEE exhibition to be held in Chicago on April 15, where it will showcase its diverse solutions in the power transmission and distribution fields in a bid to penetrate the gigantic North American market.
